1. Favorites
Favorites is a list of your most frequent shipments that you have chosen to save. Once you have booked a reservation on unitedcargo.com, you can save the reservation information to reuse later. Select a saved reservation, from the pull down menu. Click Fill to pre-populate the Flight Availability form with data from the selected favorite.

2. Flight Information
In order to check space on available flights that will accommodate your shipment, please specify the date you plan to ship your cargo, its origin and ultimate destination. If there’s a specific time that you have in mind, please specify the departure time. If you started with a favorite, the origin and destination will be pre-populated for you, but you may need to make some adjustments.

3. Shipment Information
Here is where you need to specify the size and type of cargo that you intend to ship. Specify the number of pieces, actual weight, shipment volume and commodity type on one line unless you have a shipment containing both bulk (loose) pieces and containers (ULD). In this case you would list bulk and ULD shipment information on separate lines.
A volume calculator is provided to determine volume based on dimensions. If you do not have dimensions, you can enter your shipment weight and commodity type to determine volume.

4. United Shipping Container(ULD)
If you are using a container to consolidate multiple packages in your shipment, you will need to specify both the type of container and the number of containers of that type that you will be shipping.
To proceed and view a list of available flights that meet the specifications of your shipment, click Continue.

1. Available Flights
We will display a list of flights that can accommodate your shipment. If you are ready to make a reservation, you can select the flight that best meets your needs.

2. Reserve Selected Flight
Please provide some additional customer information to complete the reservation. You will need to provide your Name, Telephone Number, and 11 digit United or IATA Account Number. Additionally, please specify the Air Waybill Number that is associated with your shipment.
Click Submit to create the reservation.

1. Confirm Reservation
The confirmation page will contain all the information about your shipment, including your confirmation number. You can print this page as a record of your reservation.

2. Create Favorites
You can save time on reservations that you frequently book by using Favorites. To save the reservation information for reuse later, select the button Create Favorites. Save your favorite using a name that is meaningful to you.
